Cabello on the Youth Consultation: It's a historic process that has never been done before

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that in the electoral process this Sunday, July 27, a historic vote is taking place in the Popular Youth Consultation.

“It's a beautiful experience and initiative of President Nicolás Maduro so that young people present their projects and they are approved,” he said after exercising his right to vote at the Rafael María Baralt Basic School in the El Furrial parish of Maturín municipality, Monagas state.

He recalled that these projects were discussed in the Communes and Community Circuits. “37,000 projects, this is truly historic, it has never been done before,” he said, highlighting the participation and commitment of youth in this process.

At the same time, he reaffirmed that this process is carried out “with the firm belief in the participatory and leading democracy that we Venezuelans have and that we exercise it, I think that every month, we are holding a democratic election day, quiet, in peace, without any problems”.

“We are adding to the efforts of a people who decided to be in control of their own destiny. Here no one decides for Venezuelans, for Venezuelans we decide for ourselves,” he said.
