The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that in Venezuela there had not been as much of a fight against corruption as in Revolution.
“We don't hide anything here from anyone, those who commit crimes know that they will have to face the law and justice. There has hardly been a government that has fought more against corruption than President Nicolás Maduro and Commander Hugo Chávez,” said Cabello during the Endowment to Police Forces with assets seized from La Carlota.
He reaffirmed that this provision is made thanks to the Domain Extension Act, which allows assets recovered from illegal activities to be placed at the service of the People.
“I have no reference to the fact that at another time a decision has been made to hand over recovered vehicles, assets recovered from criminals, terrorists and conspirators to be used now and to serve our people,” he said.
He also reiterated the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to continue fighting gangs and drug trafficking in Venezuela, for the peace and tranquility of the people.
