Cabello recognized Luis Arráez for winning his third batting title

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, recognized the Venezuelan baseball player, Luis Arráez, for becoming the first major league player to win three batting titles with three different teams.

“Winning the batting title, Arráez prevents a player (Shohei) Ohtani, a Japanese player, from being crowned triple crowned, but already in 2022 he did the same thing, he prevented Aaron Judge from being crowned, a triple crowned; so the last triple crowned, for a change, is a Venezuelan named Miguel Cabrera,” Cabello said during a PSUV press conference.

He also questioned whether they turned baseball into a television show. “ Times change, you can't expect times to be the same as 30 or 40 years ago,” he said.

On the other hand, he reiterated that the PSUV continues to work every day for the Homeland. “The PSUV meets, discusses, reviews and there we are all working together,” he said.
