Cabello: The arrival of new migrants is part of the talks between Venezuela and the US

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that the new flight that arrived in the country this Friday, coming from the United States with new Venezuelan migrants, is part of the talks that are taking place between Venezuela and the North American government.

“This flight that arrives today is part of that conversation,” he said, recalling that this dialogue was established to rescue the 252 Venezuelans kidnapped in El Salvador and that today, thanks to the efforts of President Nicolás Maduro, they are with their families in Venezuela.

He reaffirmed that the Head of State is at the forefront of these actions to ensure the reunification of Venezuelan families. “This is a direct conversation, without intermediaries, between President Nicolás Maduro and the government of Mr. Donald Trump, President of the United States; there is no intermediary there, it's a direct conversation,” he said.

In addition, he recalled that 319 migrants from Mexico, 210 from the United States and four teenagers from Trinidad and Tobago have also returned this week.
