The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reaffirmed this Monday that the red awning will continue to mobilize and organize to guarantee a popular victory and preserve the peace of the Fatherland.

“We are going to keep moving forward, we are not going to stop, the Party is going to keep moving forward, organizing for a great victory when the CNE (National Electoral Council) calls for elections, a great popular victory and we are mobilizing and we are going to remember each event to know where we have traveled to get to where we are,” said Cabello.

In this regard, during the PSUV press conference, he stressed the importance of young people knowing events such as those that occurred here on February 27, 1989.

“Let young people know that story so that it does not repeat itself; International Monetary Fund (IMF), a denaturalized government, and they exposed the People and took them to a massacre and in the end the culprit was the People, the blame was placed on the People,” he said.

He also questioned the fact that at that time the media described the people who came out to defend their rights as “looters”, while recalling that Commander Hugo Chávez pointed out that that day “the original power was automatically activated and the big media spoke of looting, of disturbances”.

In the same way, he reaffirmed the importance of popular organization to prevent the failed opposition from insisting on imposing violence on the country's streets.

“We will continue to promote popular organization to prevent the right wing from taking over the streets of Venezuela with violence (...) They want to cover up failures with violence, which is why the UPPAZ (Popular Units for Peace) gain strength and great importance in the popular organization, UPPAZ-Bolivarian Fury, Bolivarian Fury - UPPAZ, ” he stressed.

He emphasized that the UPPAZ and the Bolivarian Fury are components that complement each other to preserve the tranquility and peace of the communities in the country. At the same time, he recalled the formation and swearing in of 1,416 UPPAZ last weekend.

He stressed that in this way, exercises will continue to be carried out to mobilize, organize and train the People. “They are not going to bring violence back to Venezuela,” Cabello criticized the Venezuelan opposition.

He also called on the country's motorized and motorized vehicles not to fall into the manipulation of violent opposition. “And I tell my brothers who are motorized and I rode motorcycles a lot, don't fall into that box, they're going to leave them alone, they left only the officers who took them there on February 23,” he said.

Cabello recalled the recent complaint of the opposition member José Gregorio Contreras, who paid a group of “motorized people to generate violence, to generate some kind of disturbances” during an act by María Corina Machado.

He reiterated that the opposition always leaves those who they use as cannon fodder alone. “Everyone who goes around inventing is left alone, but they never remember them, there is no response or solidarity, they are going to leave them alone, no one is going to defend them and justice is going to have to act and it is acting,” he said.

Regarding the situation of disqualified candidates in the opposition, she once again made it clear that María Corina Machado knows she is not going, “there is not a single possibility that this person will participate in the presidential elections as a candidate, not a single one”.

He recalled that she will not be able to participate not only in these presidential elections, “but in the next three, according to the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice.”

“Their plan is violence, because they want to hide their failure with violence and for them to go to a state and for everything to come out as they didn't think, that is, in peace, it bothers them,” he said.

For this reason, he reiterated the call to PSUV militants to join, to join so that this country continues on the path of peace, tranquility, progress, “that the People can have projects, plans and that they can be consolidated, and that is only through work.”

“We are not going to give in to their provocations (...) These are the tantrums of a spoiled child, they are not leaders at all, I predict I will soon be tired because people are tired of it,” he said.
