During his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the rains in the country are blessed, since peasants are guided by rainfall for their crops.
This was stated during broadcast number 570, referring to the rain recorded in the early morning of this Wednesday, May 13, in much of the national territory.
In this regard, he said that the peasants, as the rainy season approaches, already have their land prepared “and with the first rains, they sow and with the issue of climate change, you know that this has been crazy”.
He recalled that Araguaney normally blooms during Holy Week and right now, in May, when it is blooming in Monagas and Anzoátegui, and in Aragua about two months ago, “the weather is crazy”.
“Fidel (Commander Castro) didn't always warn them about climate change and its consequences on human life, so right now, planning is difficult for farmers. There are people who sow and lose everything because it rained too much or it didn't rain,” he said.
