The Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Ayacucho, assured that the struggle of the Bolivarian Revolution is the continuation of that feat.

From the Mausoleum of the Liberator, Cabello invited us not to dismiss the struggles of independence heroes or the struggle that the People are fighting today, because “to dismiss their struggles is not fair, nor should we dismiss the struggle that we are fighting now, because we are the continuation of Ayacucho, we are essentially that inspiration,” he said.

With regard to the enemies of the Fatherland, the Minister of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace specified that “they are the same, with their interests, with their allies; those who think they own the world”.

He indicated that “the Liberation Army of 200 years ago today is constituted by the popular military and police fusion in the streets, in schools, in hospitals, in barracks, in everyday life.”

Finally, he assured that in almost 26 years of Revolution , collective consciousness, which goes beyond private interests, is the seed of our president Hugo Chávez, “the loyalty of Sucre (Antonio José de Sucre) to Bolivar (Simon Bolivar) became the collective loyalty of a people to live in freedom, in independence, to live fully while being sovereign.”
