Cabello: There are conditions to start a new school year on September 14 across the country

Diosdado Cabello stressed that it has been a priority to relocate people who were staying in schools and high schools in the country to other temporary camps to guarantee the start of the school year on September 14.

“A great effort has been made, and yes, we still have people in schools, of course, we recognize it, we don't deny it, but for everything we have the plan, in the meantime we are giving family members an alternative to rent while they build houses, or move to other states where we already have houses built, others have gone with family members and we have continued to support them, to vacate schools mainly,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program.

In addition, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) criticized Cecodap for asserting that “the conditions are not in place to start the new 2026-27 school year because schools were being used as temporary camps to house families affected by the double earthquake”.
