This Wednesday, December 4th, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, told the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, to make statements based on the wrong information given to him about the country.
“We don't have children imprisoned here Mr. Karim Khan, you were given wrong information and you are giving statements based on wrong information, we don't have children in detention here,” Cabello told the ICC Attorney during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 506.
In that regard, he stressed that Venezuela is not like the United States where there are children in detention and who have not committed crimes of any kind. “They grab them and separate them from their parents, there (in the United States) there are children in detention to be occupied,” he said.
In addition, he assured him that while in the United States they arrest children, in Palestine they are murdered. “How strange that you don't say anything?” , questioned when referring to the inaction of international organizations on the genocide that is taking place against the Palestinian people, “but they do care about Venezuela”.
