Cabello to the women and men of the police forces: That uniform has to be worn with pride!

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, asked officials to be the police that Venezuelans deserve.

“They have to be a good cop, that there's no killing anywhere (...) Be proud of your mission and anyone who falls into bad things is not worthy of wearing that uniform because it makes everyone dirty,” Cabello emphasized during his Con El Mazo Dando #573 program.

He also said that most police officers are extraordinary, sacrificed. “Being police officers is an honor, that uniform has to be worn with pride wherever it behaves and does not allow itself to be corrupted, they must feel love for that profession, respect and that it is one of the strongholds of our Revolution,” he said.

“When a police officer stops someone and takes money from them, he's hurting the institution and he can't be in it. We are with that we are not only strict, we are severe, there is no way to reconcile with that,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he stressed that during this year and through investigations, 22,000 civil servants have been discharged. “We're not having a party, but the people see it and feel it,” he said.

“When we see that applications to enter the National Experimental Security University (UNES) exceed 32,000, it's because young people are interested in the police function and that has to be with the vocation,” he said

Cabello asked the police that when they go through a school to hug the children, “they have to feel that this is their friend, that they are going to take care of him, take care of him, that nothing is going to happen to them.”

He recalled that when Commander Hugo Chávez created the Bolivarian National Police, he was thinking of a structure different from the one that existed before, more humanistic.
