The sectoral
vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace,
Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that State security agencies are moving forward seeking peace and tranquility for the people throughout the country, in the face of “those who, from
outside and from within, call for Venezuela to be attacked.”
For this reason, the Venezuelan Military Academy condemned
the campaign carried out by sectors of the extreme right, supported by
imperialism, in several countries with posters raised by drones that said
that “Venezuela was manufacturing combat drones with Iran”.
“What is the objective of
this campaign against a country like Venezuela? What are they looking for? What
is it that you want? It's very clear, that fascist opposition that pays
for these campaigns wants Venezuela to be attacked with rockets, with missiles,” he said, stressing that there is
no other justification for flags flying in countries such as the United States, France,
Chile, and others.
He reaffirmed that
these sectors of the extreme right can continue to criticize the Revolution for
preparing for the defense of the nation. “Let them continue to criticize us, but we are not going
to give this country to them or to anyone else,” he said.
For this reason,
he stressed that the men and women of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces
(FANB) “today have millions of morals, we know that, we have learned to
see the faces and eyes of our Peoples, of our FANB”.
“Today, when a URRA (Rapid Combat Reaction Units) comes out, the FANB doesn't just come out, in that URRA, the comrades of the police forces are also under the command of the CEO (Strategic Operational Command) (...) and we are all going to face the enemies of the Fatherland like this, all as brothers,” he said and reiterated that Venezuela “ensures the defense of the Homeland, we strive that every A corner of our country is secure and that peace and quiet is guaranteed everywhere.”
