The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that the real prize is the People.
“We have the best prize: this Parliament and its people. The best prize goes to this town, it is the tranquility in which we live and the destination that we build hard and hard,” he said, during the Press Conference of the National Directorate of the PSUV.
Cabello referred to the announcement made in Oslo about the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to the extreme right wing María Corina Machado, calling it an “auction to the highest bidder”.
“I don't know about Oslo, we don't know anything about that, we didn't participate in that auction. Review who won the Nobel Peace Prize and there you will get the answer,” he stressed.
The leader added that “those who are entangled are others, now there are people who are very angry because they don't receive the Nobel Prize. We have the best prize: this town.”
Cabello invited a grand march on December 10, commemorating the Battle of Santa Agnes. He recalled that Ezequiel Zamora's action is studied in military schools in other countries, such as France. “Zamora is one of the historical roots of the Bolivarian Revolutionary Movement, together with Bolívar and Rodríguez. That's where all this was born,” he said.
The general secretary of the PSUV stressed that the mobilization will also evoke the last proclamation of the Liberator Simón Bolíva r. “Today Venezuela continues on the path of peace and tranquility that depends only on us,” he concluded.
