Those who intend to attack Venezuela and believe that they will achieve their mission in a single day are miscalculating, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“It highlights the love for the Fatherland and the willingness of the People to defend it at the expense of anyone. The people of Venezuela are complicated and highly harmful to those who mess with them, they are long-acting, long-term. Whoever thinks he's going to mess with Venezuela and it'll be over in a day is doing the math wrong,” Cabello emphasized during the usual weekly PSUV press conference.

On the other hand, the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace repudiated the assault by the U.S. military of a fishing vessel in Venezuelan waters, and described this action as a piracy action.

“They boarded a ship like pirates do, to plant drugs for fishermen. They couldn't because the fishermen stung ahead and recorded. A false positive against our country,” he said.
