The candidate for mayor of the Bolivarian Libertador municipality of Caracas for the parties of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB), A/J Carmen Meléndez, ratified her commitment to strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of government management in obedience to the People.

“We will remain in the mayor's office... obeying the People because the People are in charge in Caracas, we will ensure that everything our People have said is fulfilled,” he emphasized at the closing of the campaign held in the populous Sucre parish in the west of the Venezuelan capital.

“Here is the Plan and there is the concrete agenda of actions in Caracas,” he stressed and announced that for this new term in front of the municipal executive, “the new method of governance will be in the territory.”

“The bureaucracy is over, we are going to the efficiency and effectiveness of a Government of Caracas,” he pointed out and stressed that "Carmen Meléndez is a woman of her word and what she says she does; so some beautiful days are coming.”

He specified that as part of the campaign, guided by the 7 Transformations (7T) promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, “we have made a Government plan for the People, listening to the People and their priorities and today we can say that we already have a route, we have the navigation chart”.

He expressed his love for the Venezuelan capital and its people, recalling that “ I come from the plain, but in the plain I only lived 18 years and in Caracas I am already over 40 years old, my children are from Caracas by birth... I owe a lot to Caracas for my education, for my life.”

He urged not to fall into triumphalism and to guarantee the mobilization of the entire people to obtain a resounding victory this Sunday.

“Zero triumphalism! Here we are going to win on Sunday it is with the mobilization that we are going to do from east to west and from north to south throughout Caracas,” he said.
