The candidate for mayor of the Maracaibo municipality, Gian Carlo Di Martino for the patriotic forces of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar, stressed during the closing of the campaign that the Zulian capital for the first time will be aligned with the three instances of government to build a humanized and prosperous city.

“With the newly elected governor, Luis Caldera, President Nicolás Maduro and the People's Power, in communal circuits, it will allow the Revolutionary Municipal Government, together with all of you, to demonstrate that this city can be managed, that we can humanize the city, that we can build an advanced progressive city, that we can build a livable city for our children and for our grandchildren, that we can live with a clean city without garbage or holes,” said the Chavista candidate.

He asserted that from July 28, he will take on the task of cleaning up Maracaibo so that its streets allow free and safe traffic free of holes, as well as the improvement of public services and the holding of major sporting, cultural and artistic events.

“Sisters and brothers, we have to turn Maracaibo back into the first city in Venezuela, the beautiful city, the clean city, the progressive city, the city where we all fit, in this city that is finished, destroyed, dehumanized, and immersed in corruption on the part of its rulers, we have to displace once and for all these individuals who have come to fill their own pockets,” said Gian Carlo Di Martino.

He added that although he promises to fight and work tirelessly for the transformation of Maracaibo, revolutionaries must commit themselves to untriumphantly activating the machinery of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela to overwhelmingly win on July 27.
