In Cojedes state, during the weekend, house-to-house visits, popular assemblies, community sanccochos and a day of dissemination on social networks were held, with the participation of the 991 candidates for justices of the peace.

The candidates for justices of the peace, during house-to-house visits and at the assemblies, announced their proposals to advance the construction of the democratic model of justice and peace in the territories, in addition, they explained the importance of these elections and urged them to participate this December 15.

From the Próceres de la Independencia commune, located on axis 2 of the Ezequiel Zamora municipality, Mervin Maldonado, a member of the national leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), accompanied the postulates of this communal electoral circuit made up of 11 communities, highlighting the work of organized Popular Power in the territories.

During the tour through the streets of the Libertador and Manuel Manrique communities, Maldonado explained that after house to house he participated in an assembly with the candidates for justices of the peace, who spoke and presented their contributions, proposals, perspectives with this election process, experiences and work in this commune.

“In these spaces, debates are opening for the deepening of the new State where the commune assumes strength with these options of opportunities offered to it by President Nicolás Maduro,” said Maldonado, Prensa PSUV Cojedes reported.

He stated that the election of justices of the peace is a formula that revolutionizes the judicial system, because it brings the community closer to direct solutions with these women and men that will bring communities to a new level of development, in terms of justice.

It should be noted that the electoral campaign will run until Friday, December 13, where they plan to carry out different activities, including walks, assemblies and caravans.
