CANTV activates Aba Ultra service in Rangel municipality of Mérida

A total of 500 families residing in the Rangel municipality, in the state of Mérida, now have direct access to the connectivity services Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP telephony, provided by the National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV).

This important technological advance was consolidated thanks to the strategic deployment of more than 30 kilometers of optical fiber in the region, an initiative implemented with the firm purpose of guaranteeing high speed internet and leveraging the social, educational and productive development of Andean communities, the institution said in a press release.

With these technical tasks, the above-mentioned towns in the Merida paramo are beginning to enjoy a 100 percent fiber-optic connection, which represents a qualitative leap in the quality of the entity's public services.
