CANTV expanded fiber-optic connectivity in Lara

During the first quarter of the year, CANTV was deployed in communities in Lara state to expand access to fiber optic services such as Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP Telephony.

According to a press release, the company built more than 960 optical ports in the Ana Soto, Unión, Concepción and Catedral parishes in the Iribarren municipality, allowing the connection of more than 300 families, 115 businesses and businesses, and 47 public institutions.

To date, more than 2,000 subscribers have access to GPON technology in this jurisdiction.

In terms of technical care, CANTV crews carried out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on telecommunications networks, restoring services to more than 6,280 subscribers, of whom 1,856 carried out their reports through the 1x10 Good Governance system.
