CANTV improved telecommunications services to more than 2,000 subscribers in Los Llanos

CANTV restored and optimized fixed telephone and Internet services to more than 2,000 homes in the Los Llanos region, after carrying out corrective maintenance on the transmission media to ensure connectivity, the company reported in a press release.

In the Araure municipality, Portuguese state, CANTV adapted the New Generation Node located in the Centro sector, in order to improve telecommunications for more than a thousand subscribers in the El Cerrito, La Quebradita, Araure Centro sectors, as well as in the San José, Valle Fresco and La Zaragoza housing estates.

In addition, company personnel recovered services to more than 150 families in the 12 de Marzo sector, Barrancas parish, Cruz Paredes municipality, Barinas state. The intervention contemplated the adaptation of the networks and the reconstruction of junctions affected by deterioration.

In San Fernando de Apure, connectivity was restored to more than 500 families, after carrying out maneuvers on a high-capacity underground central cable, which deteriorated due to humidity. With these works, the inhabitants of the communities of Los Tamarindos I, II and III, Jaime Lusihi and San José benefited.

In the Tinaco municipality of Cojedes state, networks were intervened to restore fixed telephony and Internet to more than 330 users in the Centro, El Cerrito, Tamarindo, Buenos Aires, Av. 5 de Julio, and Mis Marías sectors, who were affected by services due to technical problems in the networks, which required the replacement of cables and the reconstruction of joints.
