The Venezuelan National Anonymous Telephone Company (CANTV) is building more than 2,300 optical ports in the Portuguese state, as part of the technological modernization process it is carrying out in the municipalities of Acarigua, Guanare and Araure to progressively expand the coverage of Aba Ultra.
In Acarigua, the technical staff installs the network elements that will allow families in the Bella Vista I sector to connect to high-speed Internet. In Guanare, the inhabitants of the La Comunidad sector are already enjoying the services offered by the Company using GPON technology, details a press release from the state telephone company.
In parallel, in Araure, underground channeling works are being carried out on more than 600 meters of optical fiber to advance the modernization of networks and to bring services to families in the Baraure sector soon.
