CANTV launched its “Aba TV Go” streaming with 130 channels

The National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) announced the launch of its new TV streaming service “Aba TV Go”, which will be available starting October 1st for users of the “Aba Ultra” fiber service.

This proposal will offer users access to 130 television channels, providing a superior entertainment experience with a 100% fiber-optic connection.

The announcement was made by the president of CANTV, Jesús Aldana, in statements to the media, since the II International Telecommunications Fair of Venezuela (Fitelven) 2024.

At the event, he highlighted that this service and the agreement for the constitution of the IXP Venezuela Association are part of the modernization process promoted by the state company.

“We call it 'from copper to fiber' and within these facilities provided by optical fiber in transmission, we incorporate a series of products vertically to meet the needs of our users,” he explained.

Regarding the installation of fiber in the country, he reported the acquisition of the latest technology equipment to advance the construction of 2 million optical ports in various regions of the country to continue with the expansion of the service.

On the other hand, he said: “Yes, we are definitely finishing this second edition of the Venezuela International Telecommunications Fair 2024.”

“Total success,” he said when reporting during the last few minutes of the exhibition that took place in the spaces of the Polyhedron of Caracas.
