CANTV repairs service to more than two thousand subscribers in El Junquito

More than 2,000 residential and commercial users from kilometers 1 to 8 of the El Junquito parish, in the Libertador municipality of Caracas, recovered their Aba Ultra, Aba TV GO and IP telephony services thanks to the work of the technical crews of the Venezuelan National Anonymous Telephone Company (CANTV).

The damage to the technological infrastructure of the area occurred as a direct consequence of the intense rainfall recorded recently in the capital region, which caused severe damage to the power and transmission lines, details the institution's press release.

To overcome this contingency, the specialists of the state company carried out complex maneuvers that included the installation and installation of a new stretch of fiber optic network, as well as the comprehensive reconstruction of splice sleeves and the replacement or maintenance of optical terminals (FAT boxes).
