CANTV restored service to 42,000 users in April

Through the 1×10 Good Governance system and the Comprehensive Failure Resolution Plan, CANTV restored telecommunications services to more than 42,000 subscribers across the country during the month of April.
According to a press release issued by the institution, the technical deployment made it possible to resolve faults registered in networks and transmission media, affected by deterioration, theft, vandalism, weather conditions and actions of third parties.
In this regard, it became known that the region with the most reports was the central one, where approximately 13,700 cases were resolved, between La Guaira, Miranda and the Capital District.
In Los Andes, connectivity was restored to more than 5 thousand users; in Los Llanos, more than 4 thousand 800 incidents were treated and in the West more than 4 thousand 600.
For its part, in the Guiana region, more than 4,400 faults were solved, while in the East, more than 3,900 users benefited through various deployments carried out by the Company's multidisciplinary team.
The tasks included preventive and corrective maintenance of networks and transmission equipment, replacement of cables and connectors, reconstruction of splices and verification of telephone lines, accompanied by the People's Power and the Technical Telecommunications Boards.
