CANTV started fiber optic installation at Maiquetía International Airport

The Venezuelan National Anonymous Telephone Company (CANTV) began a technical deployment at the Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía National and International Airport, located in La Guaira, to guarantee high speed Internet in its spaces through the Aba Ultra service, 100% fiber optic.

The modernization of the telecommunications networks in the country's main air terminal will provide the Maiquetia International Airport Institute (IAIM), commercial dealers, restaurants and stores, with a stable and quality connection for the development of their activities.

According to a press release from CANTV, the projection in its first phase of modernization involves the laying of more than 2,000 meters of optical fiber and the construction and installation of 448 optical ports and other network components that are required to guarantee service on the premises.

In this regard, the company's staff is moving forward with the interconnection work of this renowned boarding and disembarking terminal, thus contributing to offering a better browsing experience to its users.
