This Thursday, April 30, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that Venezuela, from north to south and from east to west, rose up together to demand the end of sanctions against the country.

“We arrived accompanied by a people who want peace for this country and demand that the whole world stop the blockade and sanctions against our country,” Cabello said during the Great National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela free of sanctions in Caracas.

He also highlighted that during this pilgrimage, which began from different states of the country on April 19, he made it clear that there is a great national consensus and that is the damage that the sanctions have left to the Venezuelan people.

“Far away was that advice from some extremist sectors who spoke that sanctions were only for the leaders of Chavism, far away, sanctions affect all Venezuelans equally regardless of political colors, without distinction of religions, without distinction of age, without any difference, men, women, sex diversity, especially all our boys and girls,” he said.

For this reason, he reaffirmed that this first phase of the National Pilgrimage, which ends today, has been a total success.
