The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, made an urgent call for the formalization of the labor sector at the end of the great pilgrimage that toured the country and arrived this Thursday in Caracas.
“We have to formalize ourselves and it's a task that we can no longer postpone. I ask for the support of the country's workers. We are going to formalize it to respect the working day, so that there is no abuse, so that there are no deviations,” said the president during her speech.
Rodríguez emphasized that this new phase seeks to consolidate the protection of the productive force through major social agreements. “We are going to respect the rights of our workers. Also welcome for labor and social consensus, to ask for or work on a collective agreement marked for economic growth for the benefit of workers,” he explained.
He also urged the population to project national development towards the decades of 2030, 2040, 2050 and called this period the beginning of the “rebirth of Venezuela”, aimed at overcoming the economic difficulties of recent years.
“We are after the lost decade as a result of criminal sanctions. We are going to recover from what affected our boys, our girls. We are going through that lost decade, but we are going to mark a future, so that our youth feel that they have hope,” said Rodríguez, who also announced that he will receive young talents at the Miraflores Palace who have decided to return to the nation.
The president in charge stressed that political stability and foreign investment are key to common welfare. “May all these investments be transformed into employment, income, health, education, and social welfare of the people of Venezuela. Every firm has the hope of a country behind it,” he concluded, extending an invitation to opposing factors to join this path of recovery and national development.
