From the Cathedral of Our Lady of Help in the city of Valencia in the state of Carabobo, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, raised her prayers for the people of Venezuela to unite in demanding the cessation of sanctions against the country and to protect peace.

“I ask you on this pilgrimage to join our hands as brothers, as sisters, to overcome partisan adversity and to meet again to defend a single cause, which is the cause of Venezuela, and to defend a free Venezuela; without sanctions because we understand the profound damage that the blockade has done to Venezuela, to our workers, to children, to grandmothers, to men, to women,” he called.

The president in charge emphasized the importance of raising our voices in unity, while recalling that the national Government has promoted actions aimed at improving relations with the United States and Europe in order to achieve the definitive dismantling of all the actions that were imposed against the Venezuelan economy.

“We have taken steps, we have taken steps in that direction, restoring diplomatic relations with the government, the United States and European countries, we have taken steps, but the final victory must be the complete cessation of the sanctions that are oppressing the Venezuelan people, that are suffocating the Venezuelan economy, that are taking away the social happiness of our people,” he said.
