The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, mentioned the announcements to come for May 1 and stated that “almost four months after that January 3rd, I could show my face to say: there will be improvements”.
“There are those who have created an atmosphere of overexpectation for May Day (...) But that remedy is no worse than the disease,” he warned.
He added that the country's workers enjoy their respect and consideration “from a very young age, as taught to them by their father Jorge Antonio Rodríguez, who marched with the workers.”
