CARABOBO - VALENCIA//President in Charge: We will go to the ICJ to demand respect for the Geneva Agreement

This Tuesday, April 28, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during a meeting with various social sectors of the state of Carabobo, within the framework of the Great Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace, reiterated her nation's historical rights to the Essequibo territory.

“There is no way for us to legitimate a plunder, we will soon go to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to ratify our historic position, which is international legality, respect for the Geneva Agreement of 1966 and we have to demand,” said the president in charge.

The activity, which took place at the Municipal Theater of Valencia, began with a traditional Venezuelan musical show by El Sistema, as an expression of the richness of the collective identity and diversity of the region.

The meeting is consolidated as a space for promotion and projection that, in addition to expressing a firm rejection of the sanctions scheme and the blockade, exalts the peaceful essence of the Venezuelan people and their commitment to national union in the face of adversity.
