Caracas and Minsk review their cooperation agenda and strengthen their strategic alliance

With the firm intention of consolidating the bilateral agenda, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maksim Ryzhenkov, held a fruitful working meeting with the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Franklin Ramírez Araque.
The meeting took place within the framework of the culmination of the administration of the Venezuelan representative in the Eurasian nation, serving as an ideal space to ratify the continuity of high-level political dialogue.
During the day, both authorities reviewed the main exchange mechanisms and reaffirmed their commitment to give continuity to State guidelines aimed at shared development and the construction of a multipolar international order, based on geopolitical balance and mutual respect.
In the course of the dialogue, Ambassador Ramírez expressed the gratitude of the Bolivarian Government for the firm support and historic solidarity that Belarus has expressed towards Venezuela in the defense of its sovereignty.
For his part, Chancellor Ryzhenkov confirmed Minsk's institutional position in favor of international law, the principle of non-interference and the unrestricted attachment to the self-determination of peoples.
In evaluating the bilateral agenda, the diplomats highlighted the significant advances made in political, economic, technical and cultural matters. In addition, they agreed on the strategic importance of coordinating efforts within global and regional integration platforms such as the BRICS, the Eurasian Economic Union and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
With this meeting, Venezuela confirms that the strategic alliance with Belarus maintains a solid upward trajectory, based on the principles of friendship, solidarity and mutual respect that have historically characterized the ties between Caracas and Minsk.
