Caracas became national under-17 youth boxing champion

The capital's delegation took the lead in the U17 National Boxing Championship, winning a total of 14 medals, 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals, an event that took place in the city of Maracaibo, in the state of Zulia.
Second place went to Zulia with 5 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze. While Miranda completed the honor roll with 4 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.
In the 46 kg, the capital Cristina Zapata beat Arianna Piñango de Aragua in the final. The podium was completed by Daniela Ortiz de Lara and Orlianis Mota from Carabobo.
Then in the 50 kg, Sahony Rengifo from Caracas defeated Anggie Czerny de Miranda. The bronze was shared by Valeria Baquero de Monagas and Mariangel Álvarez from Caracas.
Analys Betancourt from Bolívar state won the 52 kg by beating Grenyellis García de Anzoátegui, Mizaelis López (Caracas) and Jorlianyeli Igirio (Zulia) took bronze.
In the 54 kg, Yenire Castillo de Falcón beat Arbelys Rodríguez de Guárico to take first place; Johanny Rodríguez de Lara and Freilimar Freyles from Caracas closed the podium.
In the 57 kg, Manueli Marín from Caracas beat Estefany Quijada from Nueva Esparta. The bronzes went to Eliana Rosado de Falcón and Triana Rojas de Miranda.
For his part, Crisbel Camacho, representative of Aragua in the 60 kg, beat Lorianny Roa de Miranda, while third place went to Yiliuska Paz from the state of Zulia.
Bennielis Pérez (Miranda) beat Marcela Carrillo de Falcón in the 66 kg. The bronzes went to Mariangel Medina from La Guaira and Sarai Becerra from Carabobo.
Rosangelis Ríos de Zulia won the gold in the 70 kg, after beating Leidellys Barrios de Caracas. The third place went to Fafianny Barrueta de Trujillo.
Everly Chiraspo beat Daniely Beltrán de La Guaira in the 75 kg category. Finally, in the +80 kg, Ilianeth Soto de Zulia defeated Nergeylis Landaeta de La Guaira to take the gold.
For the men's division, José González de Trujillo beat Alberth Picón de Zulia in the 46 kg, while the bronze was shared by Josué Murillo de Guárico and Frandi Tovar de Yaracuy.
In the 48 kg, Dassiel Acosta de Miranda beat Leider Moreno de Bolívar. In third place were Moisés Polanco from Carabobo and Harold Gil from Sucre.
The 52 kg gold medal was won by Wilmerson González (Caracas) who beat Carlos Bracho de Zulia, and the bronze medal was completed by Leoneyde Machado de Miranda and Adrián Velásquez de Monagas.
In the 54 kg, Mirandino Jheremy Silgado beat Johander Mejía from Caracas. The bronzes went to Anthony Mendoza de Táchira and Keinder Araque de Mérida.
Carabobeño Jordan Cassiani rose to first place in 57 kg, after sending Josh Morales (Caracas) to settle for silver, while Miguel Cedeño de La Guaira and Carlos Ortuño de Guárico were third.
In the 60 kg, Martín Rodríguez from Caracas won the duel against Kervin Loaiza de Guárico. The bronze went to Darlanger Hurtado de Bolívar and Jean Guanipa de Zulia.
Leonheart Jiménez from Sucrense dominated 63 kg when he beat Dered Velásquez from Caracas, while third places went to Jesús Rodríguez de Zulia and José Medina de Falcón.
Ever Armando Vargas was the champion in the 66 kg; the Guariqueño defeated Cristian Aguas de Zulia. Ángel Chourio from Caracas and Yan García from Aragua were in bronze.
Then, in the 70 kg, Jairo Muñoz from Zulia beat Aarón García de Lara. Alejandro Garri de Barinas and Yeiquer Moya de Mérida came in third place.
In the 75 kg, Darío Medina de Zulia took the gold by defeating Samuel Aponte de La Guaira. The bronzes went to Luis José Castillo de Guárico and Anderson Julio de Miranda.
José Molina from Caracas beat Daniel Pérez de Miranda in the 80 kg. In third place were Yemir Lozada from Carabobo and Maikol Fajardo from Sucre.
Finally, in the +80 kg, José Lozano from Carabobeño beat Josué Yépez de Lara. The bronze went to Eri ch Fermín de Bolívar and Amir Nader de Zulia.
