Caracas Book Fair 2025 closed with more than 100 successful activities

A total of 220,000 people participated in the XVI Caracas Book Fair 2025, as highlighted by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Melénde z, who described this event as successful.
“This 16th Caracas Book Fair was very familiar. There were 71 stands from different publishers present,” said Meléndez, during the closing of the event at the National Art Gallery (GAN), in Bellas Artes, Caracas.
The fair offered a varied program that exceeded 200 face-to-face activities, highlighting the Venezuelan literary diversity, in addition to 100 activities in the children's pavilion aimed at encouraging reading among children.
This edition of the event successfully culminated with the concert “Por Aquí Pasó”, which brought together prominent interpreters of Venezuelan folklore and popular song in the Plaza de la Juventud, such as Lilia Vera, Cristóbal Jiménez, Amaranta, Francisco Pacheco, Luisana Pérez, Iván Pérez Rossi and other artists.
