Caracas FC tied with Botafogo in Brazil in phase 1 of the Copa Sudamericana

A Caracas FC and Botafogo tied 1-1; the match corresponding to the first match of the Copa Sudamericana.

Wilfred Correa in the 43′ minute took advantage of a rebound to shoot from the right and beat the rival goal, breaking equality and putting the local team to work.

In the second half, Arhur Cabral 50′ got the tie for Botafogo, regaining parity and scoring from then on a game without a clear dominator.

Caracas FC gets its first point in group E, and will face off against Independente Petrolero at the UCV Olympic Games on April 15.
