A tree approximately 15 meters tall collapsed on the central avenue of Palo Verde, adjacent to the Páramo, in the Petare parish, where the specimen completely obstructed the main road, in addition to affecting a cargo vehicle.

This fact caused significant congestion in the traffic flow in the area, as well as a highly dangerous scenario for passers-by and drivers who were driving through the sector.

Members of the Caracas Fire Department and a Civil Protection commission were deployed on site to carry out specialized clearing and cutting techniques to control the situation safely, alleviate pressure on the cargo vehicle and reduce perimeter risks for drivers and pedestrians.

In addition, the authorities issued preventive measures to citizens present in the area. Staff were kept on site with utility corporations for the final removal of plant debris.
