Caracas firefighters controlled heavy fire in Prados del Este

Members of the Caracas Fire Department managed to put out a fire in the parking area of a residential area in Prados del Este, Baruta municipality, the fire department reported on its Instagram account.
Regarding the incident, he explained that it took place specifically between El Pasto Avenue and La Iglesia Street. Upon arriving at the emergency site, the fire commissions faced a critical scenario: a private vehicle was completely engulfed in flames, generating intense radiation and a high thermal load that threatened to spread imminently to neighboring multifamily homes.
The event caused partial damage to the roof and to the structure where the accident occurred, and the rapid intervention of rescue personnel prevented major material losses.
According to the report, the uniformed personnel carried out the respective tasks of refreshing the area, removing debris and rigorously verifying remaining risks to ensure the absolute safety of residents.
The fire was completely extinguished and no people were injured or affected by smoke inhalation.
