Caracas firefighters rescued a subject after a landslide in Antímano

The officers called on the community not to carry out constructions or earthworks outside the law.

Members of the Caracas Fire Department managed to rescue alive a subject who was partially walled up after a landslide occurred in the La Colmena sector of the La Cumbre neighborhood, Antímano parish.

According to information published by the newspaper Última Noticias , the “incident originated as a result of earthworks carried out in the area without proper technical advice or appropriate permits”.

Once officials heard about the alert, they went to the scene to rescue the victim, who was taken to the Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital, where he receives specialized medical care.

“Faced with this event, the security agency reiterated its call to the community not to carry out constructions or earthworks outside the law, and reported that its personnel are deployed 24 hours a day to deal with any emergency in the capital,” the newspaper added.
