The candidate of the revolutionary forces of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Thursday the resistance of the People in the midst of the multiple aggressions of which the country has been a victim by North American imperialism and the national extreme right.

“We have been through hard and heroic times, and one by one we have overcome the tests. In the face of every sanction a solution and in the face of every aggression, more Revolution,” said the revolutionary leader during the great march for victory, in Caracas, at the beginning of the presidential campaign ahead of the elections on July 28.

He stressed that the Bolivarian Government, which he heads, has guided the country's economy in the midst of the criminal imperial blockade. “We have managed to activate more than one million entrepreneurs in the last two years. The economy in the first half of this year broke a record, with 8% growth, we managed to defeat the economic war and we managed, with our own effort with Venezuelan work, to supply 100% of Venezuela today thanks to the people, to the businessmen,” he said.
