Caracas Mayor's Office reactivated traffic light network in Santa Capilla

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported the start-up of the traffic light network located on the corner of Santa Capilla, after work that included the installation of a new pipeline and the underground laying of the system.
Meléndez indicated that the actions were carried out during the early morning of March 25 to guarantee traffic on Urdaneta Avenue. “The traffic light network on the corner of Santa Capilla is fully operational, after work that required the new pipeline and underground cabling of the system,” he said.
The municipal authority said that crews from the Caracas Transportation Institute continue to be deployed in all 22 parishes, verifying and adjusting traffic control equipment.
