Caracas Metro carried out preventive maintenance

The Ministry of People's Power for Transportation, together with the Caracas Metro company, carried out preventive maintenance tasks on the means of underground transport.

A post on the Instagram account of the Ministry of Transportation noted that these maintenance tasks are carried out daily by specialized technicians from the C.A. Metro de Caracas, in all areas of the system 24 hours a day.

He explained that between the Caño Amarillo and Agua Salud stations, via Propatria, workers from the Railroad Maintenance Management, replaced a rail segment.

This work represents one of the most important activities in railway maintenance, since operational safety is guaranteed, for this reason, we optimize efficiency and extend the useful life of railway infrastructure.

He asserted that these works were carried out in the early hours of the morning after the completion of the commercial operation.
