Caracas Security Agencies Remain Deployed Serving the People

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported that in some places in Caracas services have been suspended out of necessity.
He also urged the people of Caracas to remain calm and reiterated the will of the National Government to respond to the emergency that the country is experiencing, as a result of the earthquakes that occurred this Wednesday.
In this regard, he assured that in the capital city the different security and civil protection bodies are still active, meeting the different needs of the people.
The local president pointed out that the Local Government has available different spaces for the reception of the town, such as the Guayana Esequiba Sports Complex, to serve the San Bernardino parish; the Chato Candela stadium, corresponding to the parish of January 23 and the National Institute of Sports in Paradise to serve the inhabitants of La Vega.
