Caribbean baseball legends will meet in a special tribute on April 11 at the Monumental

Former Venezuelan grandeliga Omar Vizquel announced through his social networks a high-profile sporting event that will bring together international and local baseball figures at the Monumental Stadium in Caracas on April 11, starting at 5:00 in the afternoon.

The activity, organized by La Liga Monumental, is conceived as a tribute to baseball and a celebration of the performance of the Venezuelan national team in the recent World Baseball Classic, where the country won the trophy that will be commemorated during the day.

“The event is at the Monumental in Caracas, where great baseball stars will share with their audience,” Vizquel highlighted through his platforms.

It was announced that the luxury guests will be: David Ortiz “Big Papi”, the central figure of the show, José Reyes “La Melaza”, former Dominican shortstop, Carlos Baerga, historic Puerto Rican infielder and Venezuelan players who were part of the last World Classic.
