The faces of 5 generations

Laura Muñoz, an activist of the JPSUV of the Caricuao parish, on behalf of the young generation, valued the meeting in the need to take up the challenge of perpetuating the Bolivarian Revolution, as a legacy of Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías.

“It is important that young people have an ideological background, so that they can identify the 7 transformations of the Homeland that President Nicolás Maduro promotes in the agenda of the Plan for the Fatherland 2025-2030,” he said.

Eliecer Marchán, a young generation from the Coche parish, highlighted how the ideological formation of the population has made it possible to face national and international aggressions against Venezuela, which together with President Nicolás Maduro managed to respond to every need.

“They tried guarimba and the answer was the peace achieved with the convening of the National Assembly, then the disappearance of food and with a plan framed in a public policy, self-sufficiency was achieved, then the pandemic was controlled thanks to the medicines and treatments obtained by President Maduro, who is also a president who cares about young people, children and older adults,” said Marchán.

David Tavera, a young man from the brilliant generation of Santa Teresa Parish, a participant in this Five Generations Dialogue, was part of table 3 where the consequences of the unilateral sanctions of the United States against Venezuela were discussed.

“These measures were requested by the opposition and caused damage to the country, so these leaders cannot return, whose only government plan is to privatize the country and hand over our resources to imperialism,” Tavera said.

Franklin La Cruz, a participant in the Golden Generation, was part of the Ecology panel responsible for joining forces for the defense of the planet. “Our land is Pachamama, without it we cannot have peace, we have to defend it in order to have Revolution and from there combat the climate crisis caused by wild capitalism in its non-liberal phase,” he said.

Freddy Luzardo, spokesperson for the forerunner generation, at this event urged us to vote for Nicolás Maduro “to rescue our historical memory to know where we come from and Nicolás Maduro represents the historical heritage of thought bequeathed by Commander Hugo Chávez and we Venezuelans should be proud of this continuity that will be reaffirmed on July 28 in the presidential elections,” he said.

Since the time of Commander Chávez, the opposition has prepared and executed destabilizing plans against the Bolivarian Revolution, however, with the arrival of President Maduro, thousands of young people willing to defend Homeland sovereignty have joined.
