Carmen Melendez: Today Venezuela is writing a new chapter in history

The Venezuelan people are, on July 27, writing a new page in history with their participation in a new electoral process, said the mayor of Caracas and candidate for re-election, Carmen Melendez.

“We have everything ready to have new elections in peace, as we Venezuelans deserve. We are making Homeland, exercising sovereignty, making pure, direct and protagonic democracy. Today is a day of Homeland and victory,” Melendez said in statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión.

In this regard, the burgomaster stressed that the capital city is at peace, while its inhabitants begin to turn to the voting centers to exercise their right to vote.

In the same way, he celebrated the emotion of Venezuelan youth who will choose, also this Sunday, which projects will be implemented in their communities.
