This Tuesday, March 5, the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, highlighted Commander Hugo Chávez's authenticity, coherence and great capacity to communicate; and he also stressed that on the 11th anniversary of his planting, he is still present in the hearts and conscience of the Venezuelan people.
“If you were to ask me: What defines the leadership of Hugo Chávez? I would tell them that authenticity, which encompasses a number of elements that come together in this category such as coherence (...) and to that quality is also added the relevance of always giving the right message at the right time,” Castro Soteldo highlighted during the Leadership and Transformation Chair in the spaces of the International University of Communications.
In that regard, he emphasized that Commander Chávez always showed himself as he was. “It's poetry that emerges from the apparent naivety of the llanero, it was Chávez (...) Chávez brought the spirit, wisdom, solidarity, singing and love of the plain from the countryside and he never denied it, on the contrary it was his great strength,” he said, referring to the fact that many described him as “montuno”.
In addition, the minister also highlighted the communicative power of the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution. “I don't think there has been a better social and mass communicator in this country than Hugo Chávez (...) and beware if on the continent. It is difficult for a leader in the twentieth century to exist in this continent with the power and strength that Hugo Chávez,” he reaffirmed and pointed out that Commander Fidel Castro was also a great leader and example for the Commander and the Revolution.
He stressed that the Commander became a “kind of poet, cultor and strategist”, who, with his authenticity and vision, was always convinced of what he was going to do. In addition, he indicated that “he had a magic to transmit that conviction that transpired (...) if we want to discover Chávez, we must study the speech of the Angostura Congress (...) because that was his political reference”.
In the same way, he emphasized that the Commander's leadership also transcended the borders of our country and led Venezuela to be an example for the free peoples of the world.
For this reason, he reaffirmed that Chávez “always and is true (...) he is not a myth or legend, he is always present there in the soul, heart and conscience of the People (...) and that love for life, for the Fatherland is nourished more and more every day”.
