Cataract Surgical Day begins in Táchira

With total success, the Cataract Surgical Day began in the state of Táchira, which takes place at the facilities of the Andean entity's “Capital Dr. Guillermo Hernández Jacobsen” Military Hospital.
To date, the day has shown significant results. On Saturday, March 28, successful surgeries were performed on 26 patients, while this Sunday, the 29th, the work continued with the care of 23 additional patients.
This special day will run until Wednesday, April 1, to fulfill the commitment to provide timely answers and improve the quality of life of those who require this corrective procedure.
The initiative is part of the Plan for Health and Life 2026, the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS) reported on its social networks.
According to the published message, which attached images of the operations carried out, these actions are part of the strengthening of the National Public Health System (SNPS), and in which more citizens recover their visual health.
