Cayapa Heroica recovered medical and air conditioning equipment in an outpatient clinic in Monagas

A total of 40 weekly patients will directly benefit from the optimization of health services in the Type III Outpatient Clinic in the community of Zamuro Afuera, in the Boquerón parish of the Maturín municipality, Monagas state, after a day of technical maintenance carried out by the brigades of the Cayapa Heroica National Plan.

During this deployment, coordinated by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) in Monagas state, the team of experts managed to inspect seven essential systems and successfully reactivate five strategic units, with the purpose of strengthening community health care in the areas of dentistry, emergencies, prenatal care, consultation for healthy children and family planning.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), the team of engineers and local experts carried out corrective and preventive maintenance of four 12,000 BTU split-type air conditioners, applying deep cleaning and recharging R410A refrigerant gas.

They also carried out the precise revision and calibration of the thermostat of an autoclave, a crucial biomedical input to guarantee sterilization and biosafety processes within the healthcare center.
