Cayapa Heroica recovered medical equipment in Nueva Esparta

Staff from the Cayapa Heroica Plan approached different institutions in the Tubores municipality, Nueva Esparta state, for the revision and recovery of medical equipment, the Ministry of Science and Technology reported in a press release.

During the operation, the brigade members reviewed a total of 18 medical equipment, leaving 11 of them fully recovered and for use.

At the “Dr. Ramón Espinoza Reyes” Technical School, 12 medical devices were reviewed, leaving eight operational, of which five monocular microscopes, two binocular microscopes and a heated agitator stand out.

For its part, at the Margarita Marine Research Station (EDIMAR), six laboratory equipment was verified, of which three were fully operational: a heated agitator, a dehumidifier and a stereoscopic magnifying glass.

The Cayapa Heroica National Plan, created in 2018, aims at the recovery of vital equipment in hospitals and institutions in the country.
