The team of technicians and professionals from Cayapa Heroica carried out a day of recovery and maintenance of essential equipment at the Darío Márquez General Hospital, located in Caripito, Bolívar municipality in the state of Monagas.
During this activity, 14 medical teams were reviewed, achieving the recovery and operation of eight operating units, which represents a significant advance in improving health services for the population.
During this working day, progress was made in the comprehensive maintenance of two 60,000 BTU air conditioning units, including cleaning the evaporator and condenser units, recharging refrigerant gas and adjusting electrical terminals. As well as the correction of false electrical contact and splice in the main 220V connection of another air conditioning unit of equal capacity, local press reported.
Three clinical beds were also recovered from the surgical area, two scialitic-type surgical lamps, which are essential for operating room care.
