CDI José Gregorio Hernández de El Junquito now has a maternal and child area

The José Gregorio Hernández Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) in El Junquito, has a new phase dedicated to maternal and child care.

This newly opened area has a fully equipped neonatal delivery room; two operating rooms equipped with technology for performing medium-complex surgical interventions.

In addition, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health, to ensure comprehensive care, the center also has areas for maternal hospitalization, recovery and an anteroom for care.

It should be noted that this CDI also has essential health care services such as general medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, trauma shock, portable X-rays and pediatrics. It also has a fully operational clinical laboratory.
