The National Center for Photography (CENAF) held for the first time the “Photographic Viewer Workshop for Multipliers”, as part of the III Comprehensive Digital Photography Course, which took place in the facilities of the prestigious “José María España” Central Public Library, in La Guaira.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the workshop participants had the opportunity to explore the depths of visual art, through the construction of photographic visors with reuse materials. This device allowed them to understand the basic principles of photography and the importance of light in the image capture process, going back to the origins of Aristotle's camera obscura photography.
In this way, the activity not only focused on theory, but also included a significant practical part, where attendees could apply what they learned, and visualize the world through their own photographic viewer.
In this regard, CENAF, through its X account, highlighted that this activity culminated successfully, where this Photographic Viewer Workshop for Multipliers reflected the commitment to communities, to activate education in order to promote photography as a tool for expression and social change.
